The Catholic Radio Network (Guadalupe Radio) will broadcast basic English lessons to help adult learners navigate common American situations and systems, thus allowing English-language learners to function at a higher level in their daily activities. Listeners can learn English from the privacy and convenience of their own homes, instead of having to attend a class at a specific location.

Maestro en Casa is divided into four main topics, each of which will be covered within a four-week period:
- Introduction
- Health Care
- Finance
- In the Workplace
Lessons will be broadcast 3 times each week for a total of 1½ hours of live instruction time per week. Participating radio stations will include:
- KJON 850 AM (Dallas- Ft. Worth),
- KWMF 1380 AM (San Antonio, TX)
- KVDG 90.9 FM (Midland, TX)
Maestro en Casa radio lessons are designed to be supplemented and enhanced with English lesson booklets. Starting October 16, 2009, the first booklet will available for pickup at a local parish.
