The Declaration of Interdependence between Mexico and the United States of America

The unanimous Declaration of Mexicans and Americans who understand and love both countries.
When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for the people of two countries to solidify the political ties which have connected them with one another, and to confirm among the powers of the earth, the bind to which the Laws of nature and of Nature’s God direct them.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all Mexicans and Americans are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with cretin indivisible bonds, that among these are history, family, culture, and a deep respect for one another.
For the reason and on this day, we carry on the worth of the bi-national organization called “Mexicans and Americans Thinking Together” or “Mexicanos y Americanos Todos Trabajando,” furthering the mission that calls for the bringing of all Mexicans and Americans together to understand and help solve the major problems of our two countries to the benefit of both people, committing ourselves to the success of both nations.
We, therefore, as citizens of Mexico and the United States of America, individually and collectively publish and declare that we can no longer sit and wait for solutions b others, because we, as ordinary citizens have the power to help solve the big issue of our day which include immigration, poverty, energy, education, the environment, job creation among others.
We, the undersigned, declare MATT to be The People’s Think Tank. An organization that will use the power of the internet and the brainpower of it’s members to make all voices heard. We further declare that MATT will document citizen opinions developing solutions that will gain the attention and merit the action of policymakers.
Through MAT T ‘s initiatives, we pledge to help create jobs for families in Mexico. We pledge to help Mexican immigrants in the United States navigate the culture shock of a new nation. We will help people who have lost contact with friends and loved ones to search for them using our bi-national missing persons service.
We will dedicate ourselves to uniting the voices of college students through MATT Student Voices, a bi-national forum where future leaders propose their ideas and solutions. We will help inform citizens about goods and services available for trade in both countries. Further, MATT will facilitate money transfers between the US and Latin America by the most efficient and least expensive means possible.
Further, we are committed to the proposition that MATT is the new model for a global grassroots organization and become the 21st century model for improving relations between any two countries.
All of the above is made possible through the vision and generosity of our founders and patron, Alonso Ancira and the creativity and commitment of our Board of Directors, We, the undersigned affirm our appreciation to both. MATT exists only because of your passion for improving the lives of the citizens of Mexico and the United States. Your inspiration is ever present in our minds and hearts.
In the Declaration of Interdependence, with great patriotism and the pride of knowing that Monclova, Coahuila was the original capitol of Texas, we dedicate ourselves to promoting MATT’s doctrine of helping to shape a better future, juntos.
