One of the reasons those living in poverty often stay poor is that they are trapped. Because they lack collateral, steady employment and credit, it is nearly impossible for them to gain access to traditional financing. Micro loans are helping to change this.
By offering practical and simple English-language courses over the radio, The MATT Foundation, in collaboration with the Archdiocese of San Antonio, will help immigrant communities in the United States integrate smoothly into American society.
